New feature integrated into Applitools

In the Eyes 10.11 release, Rally was integrated by Applitools. Rally is an application lifecycle management platform that tracks each stage of agile software development, from planning to bug tracking. Rally integration creates a single workflow of recording and managing all collected data about errors and remediation. It is a useful assistant for developers and QA engineers.

Customers can automatically test their applications and identify visual and functional errors through Applitools Eyes’ Visual AI Technology. Previously, when a problem was detected, customers had to fix it manually like switching between Eyes and Rally for logging and management, now they only need 1 click to have all information including screenshots, steps to reproduce, and environment details are recorded in one place using the Rally integration. The process is simplified because all the data that Eyes collected on bugs is seamlessly linked to Rally’s bug tracking system.

This integration will give customers an overview from UX design and development to automated test execution, test results analysis, reporting, and debugging. By using Applitools Root Cause Analysis capabilities, any stakeholder in the application development process can automatically identify the exact cause of problems and can fix errors at the right site.

Applitools COO, Moshe Milman said: “It has always been a priority of Applitools to ensure we integrate seamlessly with our customers’ existing tools and processes. Integrating with Rally was a natural next step. We understand how important it is for our customers to be able to document and track all information about their application lifecycle in one place so that they can assign appropriate handoffs and close the feedback loop efficiently.”

The Rally integration is an integration that seamlessly integrates with customers’ existing tools and processes, continuing Applitools’ commitment to expanding its integration ecosystem with over 70 SDKs.

“We rely on tools like Applitools for fast and efficient test automation and visual quality, they are an integral part of our automation toolbox. With the newly released Rally integration, teams will have a seamless flow for the defect triage workflow and optimizing the overall user experience,” said Tammie Davis, Director of Global Quality Engineering at IHG.
