Despite several restrictions with Windows hardware, Microsoft will allow users with a list of olders CPUs to install Windows 11 operating system.

Coming with new Intel processors, the list includes Xeon W-series, Intel Core X-series, and Intel Core 7820HQ series. The AMD stable is out of the list and not meant to support AMD Zen processors.

For now, news about the official support to users with Windows operating systems on Mac using Boot Camp remain unavailable. Given that there is not any TPM 2.0 support on Apple, users may be unable to use Windows 11 on Mac.

According to the company, if Windows 11 is installed on unsupported hardware, there will be unnecessary additions to the loop as not any install is allowed by the official upgrade tool.

Windows 11 is expected to be put on the market in late 2021.
